Vexyl Live (we, us, our) provides the AutoDispute service, an automated chargeback adjudication and rebuttal-letter tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through AutoDispute at vexyl.live (the Service), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address, a merchant/business name, and a password (stored as a salted hash — we never store your password in plain text).
- Case data. To generate a ruling and rebuttal letter you provide details of a chargeback: transaction amount, date, dispute category, the customer's claim, and your evidence (which may be pasted or uploaded as PDF/TXT/CSV). This case data is the core of what the Service processes.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. We do not see or store your full card number. Paddle shares only what is needed to confirm your purchase and subscription status.
- Technical data. We may collect basic request logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention (for example, our rate limits and CSRF protections).
- Product analytics. We record anonymized product events — signups, cases run, the FIGHT / ACCEPT / REFUND decision returned, letter downloads, and payment starts/completions — to understand feature adoption. These events are tied to a random browser-level identifier (a SameSite cookie), never to your email or contact details, and are not used to build a personal profile.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and enforce your monthly case allowance.
- To generate your case ruling, recovery estimate, and rebuttal letter.
- AI processing: To write your rebuttal letter we send your case details and evidence to our AI provider (DeepSeek). Your case data is transmitted for the sole purpose of generating that letter. We instruct the model to treat your evidence strictly as data and never to invent facts.
- To process payments and subscriptions through Paddle.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse or fraud.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your case data to train our own models or for any purpose other than generating your requested ruling and letter.
- We do not share your case data with any third party except (a) our AI provider as described above to generate your letter, and (b) processors such as Paddle needed to operate the Service.
Data retention
We retain your account and case data for as long as your account is active, so you can access your case history. You may delete your stored cases at any time. You may also ask us to delete your account and all associated data by contacting support@vexyl.live.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR in the EEA/UK and the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@vexyl.live. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/HSTS), strong password hashing, rate limiting, and cross-site request protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post changes on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account where practicable.
